AFL WAG Jesinta Franklin reveals her heartbreaking family loss: ‘Until we meet again’

Jesinta Franklin shared the heartbreaking loss of her beloved grandfather Arthur.

The 32-year-old model posted a gallery of photos on Instagram on Monday to announce the sad news.

They captured herself, husband Buddy and their two children, Tallulah and Rocky, celebrating the life of Arthur with her relatives on the Gold Coast.

“Goodbye Arthur. Thursday morning we lost our Grandpa, Arthur. He never wanted to be called anything but Arthur and that’s how we knew him,” she wrote in the caption.

‘Arthur and Grandma have lived with us for almost as long as I can remember, we are a very close family who grew up together under one roof. We have spent the last four days celebrating his life.’

‘You are finally reunited with Grandma in heaven, we knew how much you missed her and how lonely the last three years have been for you. Take care of each other, wherever you are until we all meet again,” she added.

Many of Jesinta’s celebrity friends were quick to offer their condolences during this difficult time.

‘Sending you love,’ influencer Pia Muehlenbeck wrote, while stylist Lana Wilkinson added: ‘So sorry for your loss. Sending love to you and your family.’

Earlier this month, she shared how she was settling into life on the Gold Coast after Buddy left the AFL last year.

Talk to the Courier mailJesinta said she and Buddy, 37, love a slower pace of life with their two young children after moving from Sydney.

‘It’s nice to have that time to relax. Nineteen years was a lot and we literally enjoy life, no pressure, no stress,’ she said.

“Lulu starts preparation next year so we have that precious time with the kids.”

Meanwhile, Buddy told the publication that he is ‘feeling good’ and ‘a lot less stressed’ now that he has more time to spend with his family.

The pair married in 2016 and share two children, Tullulah, three, and Rocky, two.
