Caitlyn Jenner ‘scrubbed from her son Brandon’s new reality show after sending legal threat amid fears of conflict with Fox’

Caitlyn Jenner has reportedly been deleted from her son Brandon Jenner’s new reality show after she was included in the show without her knowledge.

TMZ reports Caitlyn, 74, appears on an episode of her son’s new UnchainedTV show At Home With The Jenners and enjoys a family dinner with David Foster. Her son Brandon also teased an appearance by his father in earlier episodes.

But Caitlyn was unaware she would be included in the show and was upset to discover she would appear in an episode and be referenced in promotional content.

Caitlyn’s primary concern was reportedly her job as a contributor at Fox News — she’s in the middle of contract negotiations with the network and feared appearing on a reality show on a separate network would be a breach of contract.

The star hopes to continue working with Fox as the presidential election and Olympics quickly approach.

Lawyers for Caitlyn threatened the production company with legal action if they did not immediately remove her from the series.

Insiders say that not only were her future appearances removed, but she was also deleted from episodes in which she had already appeared. The show has only aired three episodes so far.

While Caitlyn wants nothing but the best for her son’s new show, she’s furious at how haphazardly it’s being organized and marketed, TMZ reports.

Apparently, she has no intention of joining a reality show on another network because it could seriously conflict with her work at Fox.

Insiders claim Caitlyn called her son and informed him of her anger over the issue. She has since been removed from the show.

Caitlyn joined Fox News as a paid commentator in 2022.

The network said Jenner, who is a transgender woman, will provide commentary and analysis across multiple Fox News Media platforms.

“Caitlyn’s story is an inspiration to us all,” said Fox News Media CEO Suzanne Scott. ‘She is a trailblazer in the LGBTQ+ community and her illustrious career spans a variety of fields which will be a tremendous asset to our audience.’

Jenner wrote on her Instagram page at the time: ‘I am humbled by this unique opportunity to speak directly to @foxnews millions of viewers on a range of issues important to the American people.’

Jenner is considered a polarizing figure in the LGBTQ community for espousing conservative views on a wide range of topics, including gender identity.

She ran an unsuccessful campaign for governor of California in 2021 as a Republican. She was defeated by incumbent Gov. Gavin Newsom, a Democrat, who finished 13th in the recall election.

The star has publicly supported Donald Trump in the past, saying she believes he has done “good things” during his presidency.

Her conservative views reportedly led to the end of her friendship with transgender activist and actress Candis Cayne.

Candis told The Messenger: ‘We just don’t really talk anymore because I can no longer separate my friendship with her and her belief system.’

Cayne said that she and a group of women ‘really tried to show her the light, and how important our cause was, and the only way you can get that is if you lean left’, but their efforts were unsuccessful — with Cayne calling her ex-boyfriend “a cult member, a Fox News cult member.”

Cayne said: ‘It’s sad because I had so many fun times and experiences with her. I wish she would see the light. I just don’t want to spend time with someone who can’t understand the other side.’

Jenner’s spokesperson said PageSix: ‘Caitlyn is proud of her ongoing contract as a Fox News contributor – the only network to employ an openly trans contributor.

“She reaches the largest cable news audience, bringing an equal perspective on protecting women’s sports.”
