Gabrielle Union shared a beautiful side-by-side photo of herself in 1991 at her senior prom and of her daughter Kaavia, five, recreating her formal dance look.

Before the comments could get out of hand about ‘who wore it better’, she declared Kaavia the winner, saying that she ‘definitely wore it better’.

The Bring It On star (51) shares her daughter with her husband, former NBA superstar Dwyane Wade (42).

The resemblance between Gabrielle – who recently enjoyed a holiday with her daughter and husband – and her daughter is uncanny. In her senior prom photos, the Breaking In actress wore a very fashionable dress for the era.

It was a sparkly, off-the-shoulder black dress with very puffy white sleeves. Union accessory with a string of pearls around her neck and pearl earrings.
