Kanye West’s Vultures album listening party was dogged by further controversy when the musician rapped about his anti-Semitism – ahead of the live stream showing the event cut off.

The rapper, 46, appeared at Chicago’s United Center on Thursday with a video showing the star – wearing a Jason Voorhees hockey mask, saying: ‘And I’m still crazy, bipolar, anti-Semitic // And I’m still the king.’

After that lyric, the stream on the streaming service Veeps cut to black and went silent when the star was apparently censored.

West has a documented history of anti-Semitism and lost out on a number of partnership deals last year after having an explosive anti-Semitic outburst.

His single, Vulture, from the record, was slammed by Jewish organizations who branded him ‘pathetic and sad’ over vile lyrics about a Jewish woman.

Vultures contains the ‘offensive’ lyrics: ‘How am I anti-Semitic? I just fucked a Jewish b****.’

The lyrics provoked a furious backlash among some fans and were even condemned by the American Jewish Committee, among others.

“To fan the flames of antisemitism and promote such bile to his millions of followers, especially at this fraught and dangerous time for the Jewish community, is inexcusable,” said spokesman Richard Hirschhaut. TMZat that point.

He added that the West’s choice was not surprising, however, given his past anti-Semitic comments.

But he said this latest scandal “seems particularly pathetic and sad.”

The Anti Defamation League also joined in the criticism, telling the outlet: ‘At a time of rising anti-Semitism worldwide, it is disgusting to see Kanye once again using his platform to spew Jew-hate.’

According to the Anti-Defamation League, the number of anti-Semitic incidents has increased fourfold.

The watchdog counted 312 antisemitic incidents between October 7 and 23, ranging from harassment to vandalism and physical assaults.

Meanwhile, college campuses and schools have seen a notable increase, according to the American Jewish Committee.

A record number of incidents have been reported, with nearly 100 incidents occurring at US universities between October 7 and 30.

The rising number of incidents prompted the White House to introduce a series of measures to tackle the ‘alarming’ rise in both anti-Semitic and Islamophobic attacks.
