Kylie Minogue dances along to Jon Bon Jovi’s Livin’ On A Prayer after attending Gala honouring him as Person of the Year

Kylie Minogue strutted her stuff as she danced along to Bon Jovi’s Livin’ On A Prayer in a video she shared on Friday.

The singer, 55, showed off long leg in the clip as she donned a black striped dress with a sheer asymmetrical hemline.

The garment also featured a belt detail along the waist as Kylie paired it with a black leather jacket as she danced in a car park.

Letting her blonde locks fall over her shoulders, the hitter added height to her frame with a pair of black heels.

Alongside the post, she wrote: ‘I HAD TO!!! CLASSIC!!! Excited to celebrate @jonbonjovi at @musicares WHOOOHHHOOHHH’.

The video comes after Kylie attended the 2024 MusiCares Person of the Year gala in Los Angeles, which honored Jon Bon Jovi.

The special ceremony honored the rock star – who rose to fame in the 80s as the lead singer of the rock group Bon Jovi.

Kylie was among the many stars who attended the ceremony to support the music artist and wowed in a neon yellow, $3,390 Versace minidress that featured ruched detailing throughout the fabric.

The left part was off the shoulder while a thin strap with the brand’s logo was wrapped around her right shoulder.

Among those who hit the stage and performed at the event were Melissa Etheridge, Shania Twain, Jason Isbell, Brandy Clark, Damiano David, Goo Goo Dolls, Jelly Roll, Marcus King, The War and Treaty and Lainey Wilson.

But probably the highlight of the evening was when the two New Jersey boys Bruce Springsteen and Jon Bon Jovi got up to rock together.

Among the crowd watching all the festivities were music stars such as Lenny Kravitz, Nile Rodgers, Linda Perry, Sammy Hagar, David Foster, Katharine McPhee, Darryl McDaniels, as well as other high profile people such as Gayle King, Rita Wilson Ted Danson, Mary Steenburger, among many others.

MusiCares is a charitable arm of the Recording Academy that offers programs to support the health and well-being of people in the music industry, including financial grants, support resources and crisis relief efforts, according to CBS News.

The Person of the Year gala not only recognizes people who are truly making a difference in the world through their philanthropic efforts, but also serves as a major fundraising event for the organization.

Known for using his voice and star power to help a worthy cause, Bon Jovi’s recognition as an honoree was due in part to his founding the Jon Bon Jovi Soul Foundation (formerly the Philadelphia Soul Charitable Foundation) in 2006 to help provide hunger, poverty and homelessness through food, housing and job training programs.

In October 2011, the organization opened the JBJ Soul Kitchen, a community restaurant in Red Bank, New Jersey, where customers pay what they can afford for their meals, either with money or through volunteer work.

As of 2023, three more locations have opened – one in Toms River, New Jersey, another on the Newark campus of Rutgers University, and a third one inside the Gilligan Student Union at New Jersey City University.
