MAFS 2024: Man stunned by Australian beauty standards after watching show and says Natalie would be considered a ‘queen’ in most countries – after bride said she will never be a ‘Bondi babe’

A British man has won hearts after calling Married At First Sight Australia’s Natalie Parham a ‘queen’ and branding Aussie beauty standards ‘unrealistic’.

During her introduction to the show, Natalie insisted she was very different to the other girls in the experiment and would never be a ‘Bondi babe’.

The TikTok user Mr. Munzara, shared a video of himself talking about a photo of Natalie on her wedding day, saying the brunette bride was too hard on herself.

‘This woman…the first time I saw her I was like “wow, she has a smile like Anne Hathaway!” This smile here is the smile of a Genovian leader,’ he said, referring to the fairytale city from Hathaway’s 2001 hit film The Princess Diaries.

‘From what she’s saying, I understand she doesn’t fit “Bondi beauty” standards… This is a message for anyone who grew up thinking they weren’t pretty but look like their wedding day! You’re not ugly!’

‘I have to say it with both hands: You are. Not. Ugly.’

It comes as Natalie and her newfound husband Collins Christian shocked viewers of Nine’s reality matchmaking show on Monday night when they left the experiment.

Natalie called time on her marriage to Collins after he showed no love for her on the honeymoon.

‘It just doesn’t feel real and right. I’d rather he be honest than just put on this mask,” Natalie explained before they both agreed to leave.

Natalie, visibly distressed and far from her usual ‘happy bubbly self’, addressed the group with a hearty goodbye.

“Being here has been a big challenge for me,” she confessed, marking the end of her journey on the show.

Echoing her sentiment, Collins acknowledged the difficulty of their decision.

“I just want to say, before you guys come up, um this is really hard, but look, we’re all here for love, right?” he said.

After sharing the news with his co-stars, Collins could be seen breaking down behind the scenes.

‘It’s over. oh my god I canceled everything. I have to go back to work tomorrow,” he said.

But all is not lost between the two, as Natalie returned during the next episode in a last ditch effort to make it with Collins.
