Moment female mugger hunts down woman, puts her in headlock and pins her to Manhattan BUILDING with male accomplice before stealing her phone: Pair ran off laughing after doorman rushed to help

Disturbing surveillance footage shows a New York woman being pinned to a building by a female assailant after being put in a headlock.

The horrific attack happened in broad daylight Sunday afternoon outside an apartment building at 75th Street and Madison on the Upper East Side.

In a disturbing sequence of events, the laughing female robber and her male accomplice chased the terrified woman on foot.

They put her in a headlock before pinning her against the glass of the building’s lobby as the doorman watched the encounter from his post.

He rushed to help but was momentarily confused when the robbers claimed they were the victims, then fled the scene laughing.

Thanks to the help of the unnamed doorman, the victim remained unharmed and was able to hold on to her wallet, despite the theft of her phone.

The doorman is now considered a hero by the residents of the building.

“I did what I could, and I wish I could have done more, but it just happened so fast that I couldn’t,” the porter said ABC7.

According to police reports, a woman with pink hair, accompanied by a male accomplice, approached the victim.

The male attacker held the victim in a headlock while the woman violently pulled her hair and dropped her to the ground.

During the altercation, the attackers forcibly grabbed the victim’s phone and attempted to take additional possessions.

However, the victim managed to break free and seek shelter in a nearby building.

That’s when the doorman intervened.

Speaking about the incident, the porter described how he heard the woman’s plea for help when she crashed into the glass, prompting him to go outside and intervene.

The assault happened around 3:45 p.m. Sunday outside an apartment building at 75th and Madison, police said.

‘I heard like a thump. She hit the glass with her face. And when I looked up, our eyes kind of met and even though she said, ‘Help,’ the porter added.

The porter, who wishes to remain anonymous, expressed regret that he could not do more to intervene.

However, when he tried to help, one of the attackers falsely accused the victim of stealing their phone, momentarily distracting him.

‘So, I walked back, because now I thought, am I helping the thief? But that was enough for them. That little distraction,” he told ABC7.

The male attacker took advantage of the moment and grabbed the victim’s phone before both offenders fled the scene.

The victim tried to run after the suspects, while the thieves laughed numbly as they escaped with the stolen phone.

‘What struck me was that they were so brave. Even when I was outside, they still continued to rob her,” said the porter.

Bystanders saw the altercation take place but did not come to the victims’ aid.

Because of surrounding surveillance cameras, the NYPD now has clear descriptions of what the attackers look like.
