OnlyFans model Courtney Clenney’s parents say she WAS acting in self-defense when she stabbed BF: ‘It would have been her funeral we’d be talking about if not his’

In a new interview with TMZ, the parents of OnlyFans model Courtney Clenney, who is accused of killing her boyfriend, say her actions were done in self-defense.

In an interview airing Monday night, TMZ’s Harvey Levin will sit down with Kim and Deborah Clenney to discuss their infamous daughter’s case.

In a snippet of the conversation, Deborah tells Levin that if her daughter had not violently protected herself, she would have ended up the victim.

‘Even if it didn’t happen, it would be her funeral we were talking about. It would have been the other way around – for sure,” she said, referring to the day her daughter stabbed to death her boyfriend, crypto trader Christian Obumseli.

Clenney (27) is accused of fatally stabbing her boyfriend, Christian Obumseli, in April 2022 at their luxury Miami apartment. She was arrested in Hawaii in August 2022 and is awaiting trial.

The interview with her parents was filmed before the two themselves were charged in connection with the case when investigators accused them of tampering with evidence.

After the stabbing occurred, Courtney called her mother to tell her something had happened.

Levin asked the model’s mother if her daughter had told her in that call that she had been attacked by her boyfriend.

“I just heard a scream,” she said, before defending her daughter’s actions as self-defense.

The interview will be broadcast about two weeks after the couple was arrested at their home in Austin, Texas, following a request from police in Miami.

Kim Clenney is accused of taking the crypto trader’s computer from the murder scene after it was missed by investigators, before accessing it with a password provided by his daughter.

He turned it over to her defense attorneys after finding nothing but a crypto exchange, TMZ reported, but was arrested along with his wife for evidence tampering.

Last month it emerged that Courtney Clenney had been seen with mysterious cuts, bruises and taped fingers in a drunken Aspen photo shoot two months before she stabbed her boyfriend to death.

Also last month, a video emerged of Clenney slapping her boyfriend just weeks before their fateful encounter.

The footage, which was filmed by another person in the room, shows Clenney blaming Obumseli for ‘impeding her progress’ and sobriety.

She complains about him ‘flirting’ with other women, not completing social media content for her and tells him she’s ‘fed up’.

He argues back with her that he is ‘done’.

It remains unclear whether the video will be submitted as evidence at Clenney’s trial. She and her lawyers are fighting to block the submission of similar footage, claiming she did not consent to the videos being filmed.

Her lawyers recently claimed to have evidence of another altercation, this time in Las Vegas, during which Obumseli seized ‘clumps of hair’ from her head.

‘The first is in 2021 in Las Vegas where she called the security and the interview of the security officer by the police.

“And you can see it in the body camera of the police officer, he says he heard her say take your hands off me, and when they came up to the room, her lumps were on the floor,” Clenney’s attorney Sabrina Puglisi said. said. Law & Crime in a recent interview.

Clenney is currently being held without bond as she awaits trial.

Clenney, who used the name Courtney Tailor on platforms such as Instagram and OnlyFans, fatally stabbed Obumseli in April 2022 at the couple’s apartment in Miami.

Clenney admitted killing Obumseli but said she acted in self-defence. Her attorney, Frank Prieto, said Obumseli was frequently abusive.

The model previously told investigators that Obumseli pushed her and threw her to the floor, prompting her to grab a knife and throw it at Obumseli from about 10 feet away.

But the medical examiner who performed the autopsy on Obumseli said his wound could not have been caused by a knife thrown from that distance.

Lenney was arrested in Hawaii several days after the stabbing, but investigators believe she gave Obumseli’s computer to her parents for a time between the murder and her arrest.

According to the arrest warrants, detectives recovered text messages where the parents discussed accessing the computer.

Clenney has previously been arrested for domestic battery in Las Vegas, and police have been called to the couple’s home in Austin, Texas, on several occasions.

The couple moved to Miami in early 2022 and staff and residents of the One Paraiso building where they lived reported several complaints of domestic disturbances about the couple and even moved to evict them.
