Sydney CBD in lockdown after stabbing overnight leaves three in hospital

A knife attack has locked down parts of the Sydney CBD and left three people in hospital.

Parts of Goulburn Street and Pitt Street in the city remain in lockdown with a police presence at the two active crime scenes.

A large brawl is understood to have broken out outside the Civic Hotel in the early hours of Tuesday, with two men also arrested and under police guard in hospital.

There are reports that scissors were used during the wild fight at 4am.

One man and one woman in their 20s were taken to St Vincent’s Hospital while another man in his 20s was rushed to the Royal Prince Alfred Hospital.
