Taylor Swift is on her way to the Super Bowl! Singer boards flight to Las Vegas to cheer on Travis Kelce vs the 49ers after stopping off in LA
Taylor Swift is finally ready to complete her long journey to the Super Bowl this afternoon after boarding a flight from Los Angeles to Las Vegas.
Swift touched down in California on Saturday after wrapping up her final Eras Tour concert in Tokyo and making the 5,500-mile trip around the world to watch boyfriend Travis Kelce and the Kansas City Chiefs take on the San Francisco 49ers at the Super Bowl LVIII faced.
The singer-songwriter likely opted to make a pit stop in LA, where she owns a property, as NFL rules prevented her from spending the night with Kelce on the eve of the big game.
And just hours before her husband took the field at Allegiant Stadium, Swift was spotted boarding her flight from Burbank, Los Angeles County, over to Vegas for the final leg of her long journey to the Super Bowl.
Despite leaving Japan at 9.30pm on Saturday night, she arrived in LA earlier than when she left – arriving at 3.35pm on Saturday afternoon thanks to the time difference.

Swift returned from Japan after a busy week recording four sold-out shows at the Tokyo Dome – the last one on Saturday night.
The pop billionaire is also fresh off winning a record-breaking fourth ‘album of the year’ Grammy – handed out at a glitzy ceremony in LA as Kelce, 34, arrived in Vegas ahead of the Super Bowl.
As revealed by TMZSwift likely stopped in LA since she wouldn’t be allowed to hook up with Kelce the night before his big game.
NFL rules prohibit players from staying with their wives or girlfriends on the nights before a game, rules that were tightened during Super Bowl week.
So the Chiefs and 49ers stars would have been on lockdown in the later hours of Saturday night, meaning Swift wouldn’t have been able to see her husband upon his arrival in Vegas – where she would have landed around 4 p.m.
That would only give her a handful of hours to get through customs and spend time with Travis before curfew kicked in.
As a result, it was probably the more tempting option to go to her property in California and spend the night there before they left for Nevada on Sunday.
Customs wouldn’t have been an issue, given guidelines would have allowed her to fly direct from Tokyo to Vegas, while the private jet parking dilemma probably wouldn’t have affected one of the biggest stars on the planet.

As she prepared to land in LA on Saturday, Swift was spotted again by Jack Sweeney – despite her lawyers threatening the college student with legal action.
Sweeney, a 21-year-old junior at the University of Central Florida, ran a number of accounts that tracked the flight paths of planes and helicopters owned by celebrities, billionaires, politicians and other high-profile figures.
One of those celebrities is Swift, who has drawn criticism for her use of private jets due to the planet-warming emissions of carbon dioxide released with each flight.
As well as monitoring her movements, Sweeney’s account also documents the amount of CO2 produced by Swift’s private jet, leading her lawyers to threaten a lawsuit for ‘stalking and harassing behaviour’.
Despite the threat of legal action, Sweeney continues to track Swift’s movements amid her trip from Tokyo to Vegas.
The student shared photos of her private jet landing in LA, along with the flight number and even alleged messages exchanged by the cabin crew during the flight.

He also claimed that any emissions documented for Taylor’s trip to Vegas should be doubled since VistaJet, the airline flying her to the Super Bowl, also flew a backup plane with her.
Sweeney’s accounts use publicly available data, and also share their planetary warning emissions estimates – with the college junior not going head to head with Elon Musk until 2022 to share his jet’s details.
When she makes her final trip from LA to Vegas, Swift will head to Allegiant Stadium to sit down with the likes of Jason and Kylie Kelce at the game.
Swift and Kelce’s families will share a Super Bowl suite this Sunday, a new report has confirmed, after the Kansas City star shelled out ‘well over $1 million’ to reserve the seats.
Kelce joked earlier this week about ‘losing all the money’ to make sure his family and friends could watch the game.
And according to TMZhe kept that promise with Taylor’s parents Andrea and Scott, his brother Austin and his girlfriend Sydney sitting down with Travis’ parents Donna and Ed, brother Jason and sister-in-law Kylie.
