Transgender paedophile was caught with three vulnerable children locked in his house when police forced down his door after he sexually assaulted girl, 14

Police officers had to force open a transgender sex offender’s door after he was found with three vulnerable children locked in his home.

Ryan Scott was involved in sexual activity with one of the 14-year-old girls when police were able to gain access to the property on April 9, 2023.

Police also found two other children in the home, both under the age of 16, who admitted to sexual contact between the accused and the 14-year-old girl.

Scott, from Dundee, admitted engaging in sexual activity and kissing the child on the face while they were both stripped to their underwear.

The pedophile – who was convicted last year of a similar offense as a woman named Coral Scott – is in custody for pre-sentence background reports.

Fiscal depute Charmaine Gilmartin told Dundee Sheriff Court: ‘Officers attended the speech on the afternoon of 9 April 2023 due to reports that three vulnerable children at high risk may be inside.

‘There was no answer to their knocking. Neighbors confirmed they saw the accused and three others enter the property.

A shutter has been requested to force entry. While this was being forced, the accused finally came and opened the door.

‘The three children were in the house. All were under 16 and they were admitted

“Two of the children admitted that there was sexual contact between the accused and the 14-year-old girl. She confirmed it.’

The court heard how Scott lured the schoolgirl back to his flat to engage in sexual activity on Valentine’s Day, despite the fact she was only 14.

The 21-year-old – who was born female – then tried to pervert the course of justice by taunting the frightened schoolgirl with death threats.

In a SnapChat voice message, Scott told his victim: ‘Next time I see you, you better not be in my scheme or I’ll fuck you. You’re a fucking slut.’

Scott accused the young girl of ‘pushing for it’ and her friend later told police Scott was well aware that his victim was only 14 years old.

Solicitor Morgan Day, defending, asked the court to grant Scott bail, but Sheriff Alistair Carmichael refused and remanded the 21-year-old in custody.

The victim’s mother said: ‘After this happened, my child changed, she became withdrawn, even violent, and did not want to talk to us. We knew something had happened.

‘We didn’t know she went to meet someone. Then a friend got in touch and said this person told others they were going to meet our daughter.

‘They also said the person was called Coral Scott. We kept asking our daughter, ‘Who is Coral?’ She said his name was Ryan. We didn’t understand.

‘It was weeks later when she finally told us this person forced her to do things she didn’t want to do. She said she was traumatized and paralyzed with fear when it happened.

‘It broke our hearts to see what this monster did to our little girl. It destroyed our beautiful daughter. She was a child and whether he was a man or a woman, this was an adult preying on a child.’

One month before the latest offense took place, Coral Scott was banned by the same court from starting any new relationship without special permission.

She was banned from having any unsupervised contact with any child under the age of 16, but was allowed to walk free from court after a sheriff said time spent in custody would count towards the sentence.

Scott, who was most recently detained in Polmont, was placed on the Sex Offenders Register and supervised by social work for three years in that case.

Sheriff Paul Brown imposed two special ‘behaviour requirements’ – banning contact with anyone under 16 without consent, and ‘reporting any intimate relationship to the supervising officer’.

In that previous case, Scott admitted to engaging in ‘sexual activity with or towards’ the 14-year-old girl.

In court during March 2023, the accused was referred to as Coral and this was understood to identify him as female in prison.

Scott – who has previous convictions for violence, threatening behavior and carrying a knife – used fake social media accounts to target the girl months later.

Fiscal depute Joanne Ritchie told the court: ‘The defendant and the girl initially developed a friendship on SnapChat through a mutual friend’s group.

‘On 14 February 2022 she and the girl met at the McManus Galleries in Dundee. She and the accused then traveled by bus to the accused’s address.

“At first they were alone and sat in the living room watching movies. A short time later the accused’s friend arrived.

‘The accused’s behavior changed and she began showing off by kissing and sucking the girl’s neck, which left bruising. They kissed each other on the lips.’

Scott was reported to the police and then located and charged on May 1.

Nine days later, when she was already subject to six bail orders, Scott targeted the child again.

‘She received a SnapChat friend request from ‘Amelia’. She assumed it was someone at her school and she accepted the friend request,’ Ms Ritchie said.

These were two voicemails from Scott. They read: ‘So see if I get the prison mate, you’re a fucked up mate. You are dead. You are just a pure fucking horrible cunt. Never met anyone so horrible in my life.’

The girl used a second device to record the messages and play them back to her mother.

Scott admitted to sending threatening messages to the girl and trying to scare her into not testifying. By the time of the final message, Scott had been released on six bail orders.

Scott also previously admitted that on January 6, 2022, he had a knife in Wentworth Drive, Dundee, and smashed a door and window with it, as well as putting it through a letterbox.
