Travis Kelce gushes about Taylor Swift’s ‘unbelievable’ upcoming album… after she shared tracklist that features a Post Malone collaboration
Travis Kelce has been full of praise for his girlfriend Taylor Swift’s upcoming album, The Tortured Poets Department, calling it ‘amazing’.
The NFL star, 34, confirmed he heard bits of the record – which will be released on April 19 – which Swift, 34, surprisingly announced at the Grammys on Sunday.
“I heard about it, yeah, and it’s amazing,” the Kansas City Chiefs tight end gushed at a pre-Super Bowl press conference in Las Vegas. The Kansas City Star.
“I can’t wait for her to rock the world when it finally drops,” Travis – who admitted he hasn’t spoken to Taylor since her night at the Grammys – added.
Kelce played coy about revealing his favorite song from the new album – after Taylor shared the 17-song tracklist earlier in the day – replying: ‘I can’t confirm or deny that.’

However, Kelce revealed his all-time favorite Taylor song.
“Right now, I’d probably say ‘Anti-Hero’ just because I hear it every day,” he said.
As for Taylor’s big wins at the Grammys, he said: ‘She’s amazing. She is rewriting the history books herself. I told her I would have to hold up my end of the bargain and come home with hardware too.’
Kelce also noted the influence Swift had in bringing new fans to football: “She definitely brought a lot of new faces to the game,” he said.
‘Taylor has an incredible fan base that has followed her and supported her throughout her life. It was fun to sort of gather the Swifties in Chiefs Kingdom and expose them to the football world and the sports world.’
At one point he was also pointedly asked: ‘What’s it like to date Taylor Swift?’
“Man, I tell you what, it’s a wild experience,” Kelce responded. “But I enjoy and love every bit of it.”
Although he’s been asked a few times about his Valentine’s Day plans, Travis hasn’t revealed what he has in store for Taylor.
‘I’ll tell you what, man, I’m thinking about nothing but this football game. There’s nothing on my mind that happens until this football game is over.’

The Kansas City Chiefs plane landed in Las Vegas to begin preparations for Super Bowl LVIII, as Swift won a Grammy for best pop vocal album, Kelce said.
He saw the singer win her first hardware of the night when he regained phone service. Still, Kelce said he hasn’t spoken to Swift since the Grammys because she had to get on a plane, likely to Tokyo for the Japanese leg of ‘The Eras Tour.’
Kelce did not answer if Swift would attend Super Bowl LVIII at Allegiant Stadium or if she had a private plane to make the game.
Swift attended 12 Chiefs games this season, including all three Chiefs postseason victories.
“She seems to enjoy the games,” Kelce said. ‘She is now part of Chiefs Kingdom. It’s fun to see her enjoying the game of soccer knowing that it’s quite new in her life.’
Swift won two Grammy Awards on Sunday, including her record-breaking fourth ‘Album of the Year’ award, bringing her lifetime total to 14 Grammys.
During her first acceptance speech of the evening, she announced a new album, The Tortured Poets Department – which some fans speculate could detail her relationship with ex Joe Alwyn, 32.
And on Monday, she shared the 17-song playlist to go with it.
She posted a black and white image of her profile on her Instagram, with white letters on her shoulder reading: ‘I love you, it’s ruining my life.’
On the right were the names of her songs, with a caption below that read “From the desk of Taylor Swift.”
The album will feature collaborations with Post Malone and Florence + the Machine.
The album will open with a song called ‘Fortnight’ (feat. Post Malone). It will be followed by a track with the same name as the album, ‘The Tortured Poets Department’.
Next up is ‘My Boy Just Breaks His Favorite Toys’, followed by ‘Down Bad’ and ‘So Long, London’.
Track six is called ‘But Daddy I Love Him’ and is followed by ‘Fresh Out The Slammer’ and ‘Florida!!! (feat. Florence + The Machine).’

She also posted a photo of a mysterious handwritten note
Track nine is ‘Guilty as sin?’, followed by ‘Who’s afraid of little old me’, ‘I can fix him (no I really can)’, ‘loml.’
Next up are ‘I Can Do It With A Broken Heart’, ‘The Smallest Man Who Ever Lived’, The Alchemy’, and ‘Clara Bow’. The album closes with track 17, titled “The Manuscript.”
Announcing the title of her new album on stage, Taylor told the audience: ‘I want to say thank you to the fans by telling you a secret that I’ve been keeping from you for the past two years, which is that my brand new album is coming out April 19.’
‘It’s called The Tortured Poet’s Department. I’m going to put the cover backstage immediately.’
Soon after, she ‘broke the internet’ when she revealed the racy cover art on her Instagram.
Later, Swift earned her fourth album of the year at the show. The big win made her the first person ever to win the top prize four times, as she was previously tied with Stevie Wonder, Frank Sinatra and Paul Simon for the record.
